Cereal Bars


  • Dry Cereal aprox. 1/2 of a good sized box
  • Butter ( can substitute with another kind of shortening) approx 1/2 stick
  • Marshmellows (mini melts best) use 1 bag (bigger bag= gooeyer bars, smaller bag= dryer bars)
Melt butter over medium heat in large pan. Add marshmellows. When the marshmellows are no longer lumpy, turn heat off.
Add dry cereal.
rub another pan with butter. Then pour cereal mix into the pan. butter fingers and pat down mix. Cover mix with saran wrap if it doesn't get eaten in a couple of hours.
