MINIATURE FOOD

  • Pizza (cut circles in flour tortillas, bake for 5 minutes, add toppings, then broil for a minute)
  • breadsticks (buy premade bread dough or crescent roll dough and cut into small strips)
  • Soup (serve in shot glasses)
  • subs (get breadsticks and then cut in half lengthwise to make bun, then fill with sandwich ingredients and cut in slices)
  • Regular food (use small plates and utensils found at party store to make small plates of leftover food)
  • cookies (use pre-made cookie dough to make small cookies).
  • brownies/cupcakes (use mini-muffin pan and liners)
  • fruit (cut in very small pieces and serve in shot glasses or on toothpicks like a kabob)
  • drinks (serve in small shot glasses or stemmed liqueur cups or mini martini glasses)
  • sauces, butter, etc. Fill sandwich bag with sauce and cut corner to pipe small dollops of sauce/butter/whipped cream etc.
  • little touches: cut parsley into small pieces to garnish mini meals
  • buy small napkins or cut and fold paper towels
  • use birthday cake candles for centerpieces, instead of table candles.
