- 1 -1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion
- 1/2-1 green pepper
- 1 bunch parsley
- 2-3 tsp. chili powder
- 1 t ground cumin
- 1 -1 1/2 t salt
- 1 T sugar
- 1 large can tomatoes
- 1 lb cooked pasta
- optional: grated cheese for topping
Brown beef, drain fat from pan. Add garlic, onion, green pepper and parsley. Stir and cook for a few minutes. Add chili powder and cumin. Stir. Add salt, sugar and tomatoes. Stir. Simmer for 15-20 minutes. Mix sauce with cooked pasta. Add grated cheese if desired.
