Pat's Pesto

Ingredients
  • 1 c basil
  • 1 c parsley
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 c olive oil
  • 1 t salt
directions; put everything in a blender.

Great on noodles, but also can be used for pizza sauce, dipping sauce and as flavor in other sauces.
It lasts for a couple weeks in the fridge, but i recommend freezing it. I use ziploc bags and freeze them flat on cookie sheets and then after they are frozen, stack them for storage in the freezer.
