Mom's Meatloaf

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2-2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1/2 cup milk/water/beer/juice
  • several stalks parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 T soy sauce
  • pepper to taste
  • optional; bacon
Directions;
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Tear bread into small pieces and soak in milk. Combine all ingredients except the bacon. Press mixture into a loaf pan. Top with bacon. Cook for 50-60 minutes.

For Kids-add pureed cooked cauliflower or other veggies. You can even use baby food.
